EU ambassadors plan to return next week

Let us remind you, the Belgian publication EUObserver was the first to inform about the ambassadors' intention to return after the Catholic Easter (April 8). The officials of the European Union neither confirmed nor refuted this information.

However, according to the information provided by BelaPAN with a reference to the diplomatic sources in the European Union, such agreement indeed exists. This decision has allegedly been taken at the level of the EU countries ambassadors in Brussels. The anonymous diplomat underlined that they think in the EU that they should not concentrate only on restrictive measures in relations with Belarus.

Let us remind you, the Belarusian MFA stated after the expansion of the EU sanctions that they did not see the necessity for the European ambassadors' return to Belarus.
