Exhibition dedicated to rebellion-1863 opens in Warsaw (photo)
There are photos, proclamations, leaflets, memories, documents, jewellery and souvenirs.
The exhibition is located in the building of the Main Archive of Historical Acts at Dluga street, 7. The admission is free till February 8.
The exhibition is called "Death to conquerors, glory to the conquered!" and is divided into several parts. It tells about the moods in the society before the rebellion, the rebellion itself and the repressions after it was dispersed.
Belarusian native Romuald Traugut takes a considerable place at the exhibition. Three booths tell about his life and rebel activity.
