Former political prisoner Malchanau remains in custody after arrest
The youngster served 10 days of administrative detention but they left him in custody for three more days.
He is suspected in a crime, reports the human rights center "Viasna".
Let us remind you, Barysau district court sentenced Malchanau for "disobedience to the legal demands of the authorities' representative" on October 27. The term of detention ended on November 6. However, the political prisoner is still in the pre-trial detention center in Barysau.
Malchanau and his friend Andrej Nikalaeuski are accused of insult of the state symbols. The police think that the youngsters are connected with the fact that the state flags were poured with paint in the center of Barysau on October 26. Several searches took place in Malchanau's apartment recently.
