Freedom Day organizers to pay about Br 1,5 mln to budget
The sum is aimed to cover the expenses for the ambulance services - no other services were required during the street action.
Vice-Chairman of the movement "For Freedom" Yuras Hubarevich shared his calculations with Euroradio:

"If we make a list of the services (the services to which the
organizers should pay - Euroradio), these are the Ministry for Emergency
Situations - but no fires were recorded during the action; "Zelenbud"
- but I hope we didn't manage to stamp on any grass under such thick layer of
snow. Therefore, it is difficult to imagine what else the organizers or the
action's participants might be made pay for. Only the ambulance remains, which
had a pre-pay of Br 600 thousand, and the final bill will be about Br 1,5-1,6
mln."
As for payment to the
law-enforcement officials or the special police - there will be none, as they
did not render any paid services to the event's organizers - they just did
their job, assures Yuras Hubarevich.
The Freedom Day celebration took place in Minsk on March 24 and gathered about
2 thousand participants.
