"Before getting on train please show your passports and sign for Nyaklyaeu!

The people's reaction was polar - from "Who's that?" to "Of course I'll sign, what do I have to be afraid of?" Among the top phrases heard by Euroradio there was "I don't know him, we haven't studied such writers at school!" and "Well, I sign now and then I'll have problems crossing the border!"

As a result they managed to collect a dozen and a half signatures from 4 Belarusian carriages - there were surprisingly few people. The activist Vasil did his best to arouse people from their indifference and invited them to go out to the platform with passports even though some of them were already sitting in the train waiting for departure. The stewardesses refused to sign, while the trainmaster interested what was happening but did not interfere with the process. Even Polish citizens who were going on the same train wanted to sign, but of course they coundn't so they just wished the contender success.
