Head of “Vyasna” Ales Byalyatski may face criminal responsibility

Ales Byalyatski, head of the human rights centre “Vyasna” and Vice President of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) is acting on behalf of an unregistered organization, thinks the General Prosecutor’s Office. He received the corresponding warning on February 16.

Mr. Byalyatski was officially warned that he could be subjected to criminal responsibility if he continued his activities. The human rights activist is going to appeal the decision of the Central District Court in a court of higher instance, informs Radio Liberty.
