Hrodna authorities gather people in central square
This is probably connected with the silent protest action which is to take place all over Belarus today.
“Nasha Niva”informs about the initiative of Hrodna city authorities. According to the information provided by the newspaper, the order to send several people to the Soviet Square on Wednesday night has been directed to all educational establishments. An action of protest, organized via social networks, is supposed to take place there at the same time.
This is not the first time when the authorities try to interfere with the demonstrators. A concert was organized last Wednesday in the Soviet Square, but it did not create any obstacles for the youngsters who came there to protest.
