Israeli Olympians killed at Olympics-72 to be commemorated in Minsk
Terrorists shot 11 sportsmen including 4 coaches, 5 sportsmen and two judges, at the Olympics Games in Munich 40 years ago.
Israeli sportsmen were killed by the radical Palestinian organization "Black September". The victims of that terrorist act will be commemorated on July 27 - on the day the XXX Olympic Games will start, informs the press service of the Israeli Embassy to Minsk.
The ceremony will start at 6.30 p.m. in the synagogue in Shornaya Street, 20. Representatives of the Israeli diplomatic mission and of Belarusian Jewish communities will take part in it. The victims will be commemorated with a minute's silence, a remembering prayer will be said there.
