Lukashenka's press-center: no meetings with Putin were planned
Bilateral meeting between Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alyaksandr Lukashenka in the framework of the CIS leaders summit wasn't planned.
Head of Alyaksandr
Lukashenka's press-center Pavel Lyohki has informed this to BelaPAN.
"There have been two bilateral meetings, with President of Ukraine and
Turkmenistan, - says Lyohki. - The major part of contacts of all the Presidents
was behind the doors, with no press-secretaries, so I cannot tell you whom else
the President talked to".
On December 5, Alyaksandr Lukashenka participated in the CIS members states
leaders' session in Ashkhabad. The press-center of Kremlin informed about
bilateral meetings of Vladimir Putin with President of Ukraine
Victor Yanukovich, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan
Nazarbayev and President of Armenia Serge Sargasyan.
Some political scientists do not exclude that Putin might have taken offence at
his Belarusian colleague for his recent statements on the Russian leader's
health.
