Minsk official extorted bribe from Europeans - $500 thousand
The details of the detention of senior deputy head of Minsk City Executive Committee Ihar Vasilyeu have become known.
According to BelTA, the official hoped to get a bribe from a European investor. Vasilyeu demanded half a million dollars for his positive decision concerning an issue. KGB members detained him when he received the first part of the bribe - 250 thousand dollars. The Investigation Committee is dealing with the case now.
