Minsker Svyatlana Chornaya passes on dry hunger strike

Let us remind you, she announced a hunger strike back on November 30. The protester has commented to BelaPAN, that she felt the worst within the first two weeks of the hunger strike. At first she had headaches, then her nose started bleeding. After two weeks the organism adapted to the siituation, she says.

The Minsker has lost about 12 kilos during her hunger strike, her current weight is 56 kilos. She says that her legs became dropsical because she used liquids. Mrs. Chornaya will get back to drinking as soon as the dropsy passes away. 

There has been no reply to her appeal to the President's Administration yet. According to the lady, the officials informed that her appeal had been re-directed to the pardon commission. The commission can consider the appeal only when it receives the criminal cases of Kanavalau and Kavalyou from the Supreme Court. The commission has not received these materials yet.
