Observers Martsaleu and Lisetskaya held at the police station till 9 p.m.
They were taken from the polling station around 13.00 on Sunday, after having witnessed a potential fraud.
Observer from BPF Syarhei Martsaleu and observer from "Movement for Freedom" Aryna Lisetskaya worked at the polling station in the electoral district No. 101 in Minsk. These are the polling stations where the so-called "election carousel" was recorded.
Lisetskaya noticed that one of the women voted twice and made a comment about that, taking her picture. She also noticed that the woman in question and other women came from the mini bus waiting outside the station. After Lisetskaya made the comment, plain clothed people took her away. Syarhei Martsaleu, who went looking after her, disappeared as well.
Martsaleu and Lisetskaya were kept at Frunzenski district police station. Aryna Lisetskaya claims she managed to keep the pictures and will publish them later, BelaPAN agency informs.
