Police do not return Ales Makayeu's car

Entrepreneur Ales Makayeu faced an unpleasant surprise when he was released from the Akrestsina Street detention center on Saturday - the police refused to return him his car. According to the policemen, the automobile could have been stolen and this needed checking.

Makayeu says that he bought a brand new car in one of Minsk automobile dealerships, and had all the necessary documents. According to the entrepreneur, absence of a vehicle causes problems in his work.

Ales Makayeu was sentenced to 6 days of detention. He was going in a car with a white-red-white flag on it passing by the polling station where Lukashenka had voted, on the election day, September 23.
