Prisoner of Ivatsevichy colony tries to burn himself?
Human rights activists claim that such incident could have taken place.
The web-site of the organization "Platform" published the information that in the evening on November 24 one of the convicts, a person with the second group of disability, poured himself with paint-remover and burnt. The man was delivered to hospital. Members of the "Platform" got this information from anonymous sources in the prison.
Later, they contacted the central district hospital in Ivatsevichy, and were confirmed that such patient had indeed arrived there. How he is conscious and able to speak. 30% of his body surface is burnt, the burnts are of 2nd-3rd degree of severity.
The reason for the incident is unknown. The prisoner probably had problems with the administration. The colony does not officially confirm that there was such an incident.
