Reconstruction of bridge over Sozh river completed in Homel (photo)
It was opened exactly on the City Day, which is marked on September 17.
The bridge which has served for more than 60 years since the moment of its construction, has been totally reconstructed. Now it is almost identical to its "younger brother", which is located in close proximity and was opened in 2009.
The lenth of the reconstructed bridge is 342 meters, the width - more than 12 meters. The reconstruction took more than a year, the total cost made nearly 24 billion roubles.
