RRB-Bank: Dollar availability for 4000 will be limited
The bank has confessed that the National Bank has recommended that they should not exceed the exchange rate of 4000 and that only the dollars sold
by the population will appear in foreign exchange offices.
The dollar exchange rate will not exceed 4000 in currency exchange offices. The National Bank has given this verbal order, said RRB-Bank to Euroradio.
“All the banks have this exchange rate because of the verbal recommendation pronounced by the National Bank. The exchange rate is regulated by the world market in a normal situation. Judging by the fact that the interbank exchange rate is 5100-5300 roubles, the dollar availability for 4000 will be limited. Only the dollars sold by the population will appear in currency exchange offices. The real exchange rate will be established according to the third market as soon as there are no more recommendations. The National Bank probably wants to see what the decision will lead to”, - noted a bank employee.
