Rumas promises that single currency with Russia and Kazakhstan is far off
The single currency may appear in the United economic space of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in a long-term perspective.
Belarusian Vice-PM Syarhej Rumas has informed this to the journalists on December 20 in Moscow.
Rumas: "The issue of the single currency's introduction is not on the agenda yet. However, it is on the agenda in a long-term perspective. Introduction of the single currency will become the climax of the integration. In order to achieve that, we need to take a number of consequent steps to equalize our macro-economic policy, and our currency policy".
