Special commission investigates incident with a military plane near Lida
Th incident happened on January 31 at the aviation training area "Nyoman".
According to the information provided by BELTA, they practiced use of the earth-targeted battle-planes SU-25 at the training area. Suddenly, a transparent part of a cabin was torn off one of the battle-planes. Behind the wheel there was a first-class military pilot - Guard Mayor, who had flown more than 1100 hours by then.
Everything finished happily for the pilot - he managed to take the plane to the airport and to land successfully.
According to the preliminary information, the reason for the incident was a shortcoming in construction. However, the investigation has not been completed yet, say representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
