Surikov: Russia does not plan any bandit privatization in Belarus
The Russian business would like to participate in the privatisation of Belarusian enterprises according to the international rules.
Russian Ambassador Alexander Surikov has told it to journalists in Minsk today, on May 31. According to him, nobody is planning anything that would be bandit or appalling, informs BelaPAN.
The Ambassador has reminded that negotiations about the purchase of Belarusian shares of “Beltransgaz” are in processes as well as the creation of a KAMAZ and MAZ holding.
Let us remind you that Alyaksandr Lukashenka made a harsh statement concerning the rumours about the mass sale of Belarusian state property on May 27. Lukashenka claimed that “there would be no bandit sale of the country”. According to him, nobody will buy “Belpotassium”, MAZ, BelAZ or BMZ without his knowledge.
However, Russian Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin noted on the same day that Belarusian privatisation was one of the terms of getting a EurAsEC credit.
