Three days in jail for March 8 picket
Soviet District judge Dzmitry Paulyuchenka has pronounced this sentence to activist of "European Belarus" Valyantsina Tsyurava.
She was returned guilty of an unauthorized picket, BelaPAN reports. The girl came to Kamarouski Market with the poster "Where is my holiday? Where is my freedom?" on March 8.
Tsyurava spent three days in Akrestsina detention centre before the trial. That is why her sentence was announced fulfilled and the activist was released after the trial.
