The column has passed “Moscow” metro station. Besides national flags, the activists are carrying organizations’ flags: “Young Belarus”, “Young Democrats” and the BCD.
One of the leaders of the CCP-BPF (Yuras Belenki) and co-leader of the BCD (Vital Rymasheuski) are there.

The manifestation has started. The column is walking slowly. Participants are shouting out “Live Belarus!” and are demanding to release political prisoners. Activists of “Young Belarus” are holding their portraits. One of them is pronouncing political prisoner’s names one after another and the present shout out the word “Freedom” after every name.

About 300 participants of the manifestation have gathered at the venue. There are a lot of white-red-white flags. You can also see transparencies of youth organizations.
Strangers in plain clothes are watching the participants of Dzyady.
Let us remind you that a traditional Kurapaty manifestation will be organized in Minsk today. People commemorate victims of Stalin-era repressions every year on Dzyady. The first Kurapaty action took place in 1988.
