Video cameras to appear in Minsk metro carriages soon
Director of Minsk metro Rastsislau Yurenya has informed this on Tuesday.
Yurenya: "If
we install 4 additional cameras in the carriages, do you realize how many
cameras we would need for 337 carriages? We will need to create a special
situation center to watch over them. We are going to work on this in the near
future".
Apart from that, there will appear the buttons for emergency call of the police
and blast localizers, in which unknown objects will be stored, in Minsk metro.
Also, they are going to create the metro security service. It will work
together with the police.
Rastsislau Yurenya has also informed on Tuesday that the prices for metro trips will not be increased yet.
