"Young Front" to award “Love Belarus” prize today
Iryna Halip, Svyatlana Kalinkina and Zmitser Lukashuk have been nominated for the prize in the field of journalism.
“Young Front” registered in the Czech Republic will award its prize “Love Belarus” on February 12. Tatstsyana Shaputska, an activist of “Young Front” has informed Euroradio about the nominees on air:
"For example, Iryna Halip, Svyatlana Kalinkina and Zmitser Lukashuk from Euroradio have been nominated for the journalism prize. The Belarusian Wikipedia has been nominated for the cultural prize”.
Politicians Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu and Mikola Statkevich imprisoned in the KGB detention centre have also been nominated.
Let us remind you that “Love Belarus” was founded by “Young Front” in 2010 and has eight nominations: “Belarussification”, “Politics”, “Culture”, “Sport”, “Pro-Belarus”, “Journalism”, “Civil activities” and “Fighter of the year”.
