He has also commented on the political situation in Belarus.
The meeting was organized by the Belarusian National Memory and its chairman - Anatol Mihnavets - on October 5. Such meetings with the head of the Christian Conservative Party BPF Zyanon Paznyak are organized in the Polish capital every year. "Good Photography" and "Kurapaty Defense. People's Memorial" were presented there.
Zyanon Paznyak's "Good Photography" contained information about photos and photographers of different nations and periods of time. The book contains 56 essays about the photography starting from the mid-19th century until today.
The book "Kurapaty Defense. People's Memorial" was written by Zyanon Paznyak and Valery Buival. The period from the opening of the memorial until the beginning of the 21st century is covered in it. The book consists of two parts. The first part contains Zyanon Paznyak and Valery Buival's photos, articles and materials. The second part is an appendix containing Zyanon Pazyak's old articles and interviews with Syarhei Navumchyk and Alyaksandr Lukashuk.
The present had a chance to ask some questions about the political situation in Belarus after the meeting. Paznyak noted that Belarusians expressed their attitude to the government by boycotting the parliamentary election. Nobody will believe that the turnout in Belarus totaled 75%. This is the beginning of the Belarusian President's end, the head of the CCP BPF thinks. He compared the situation to the 1980s when the Soviet TV assured people that everything was okay but nobody believed it anymore.
Paznyak signed books and photographed with everyone who wanted to do it at the end of the meeting. There was a long queue that disappeared only 40 minutes later.
