Rosneft also contends for Kerimov's share in Uralkali
The oil and gas company may win over banker Vladimir Kogan, previously announced as buyer of Kerimiov's share.
Rosneft company decided to buy the Uralkali share that belongs to businessman Suleiman Kerimov, RIA Novosti news agency with a reference to the source close to the negotiations process.
According to the agency's interlocutor, the oil and gas company can win the negotiations over banker Vladimir Kogan, previously announced as buyer of Kerimiov's share. The representatives of Rosneft, Uralkali or Vladimir Kogan have not commented on the information so far.
On September 13, lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky informed that Suleiman Kerimov had sold his share in Uralkali in exchange for freedom of his business partner Vladislav Baumgertner. According to the lawyer, the bargain will be completed within the next two or three weeks. 20% of the total sum of the bargain have been already paid.
According to the lawyer, Uralkali CEO Vladislav Baumgertner will be released from the KGB detention center at approximately the same time. he will continue to work at the same position, Dobrovinsky informs. He adds that the Belarusian side is fully satisfied with such development of the situation.
