Russia supplies oil to Belarus including 100% export duties?
The Russian exporters that in January 2010 are supplying crude oil to refineries in Belarus include 100 percent of export duties into the cost of the supplies. Since January 1, 2010 this is $267 per one ton, a source close to the Belarusian refineries told Interfax news agency. This report was confirmed to the agency by two traders affiliated with Russian exporters active in Belarus.
The state petrochemical monopoly Belneftekhim has declined to comment on the de facto conditions of crude oil supplies.
Crude oil is the only commodity in the trade with Russia that is subject to export duties applied by the Russian Federation.
