Russia in Belarus foodstuffs threat
Russia's Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov says additional measures are needed to enhance controls over Belarusian foodstuffs.
"There are examples of incorrect "re-exporting" of foodstuffs from Belarus," he told Prime news agency. Additional measures may be taken to guarantee the safety of Belarusian foodstuffs, the official said.
Supplies from Belarus are monitored by special agencies, Fyodorov noted. "I would not say that there is some global problem here," he noted.
Russia put restrictions on meat supplies from Bealrus earlier. Now it is not happy with with the quality and safety of Belarusian dairy products.
