Russian TV channels show scandalous film about Lukashenka
A Russian TV channel NTV showed a film “Godfather” yesterday, on the eve of the EurAsEC summit in Kazakhstan. The film contains a lot of facts about Lukashenka’s personality, the disappearance of famous people in Belarus and the relations of the state leader with Iryna Abelskaya called Lukashenka’s “lover” by the authors of the film.
A state Russian channel Russia Today broadcasting for foreign countries showed another film about Lukashenka “Europe’s Last Dictator”.
The authors of the film drew attention to the Belarusian-Russian “gas war”. The Belarusian leader was accused of turning a mere economic conflict into a political one.
The film recalls the fact that Lukashenka changed the Constitution and can be elected President for an unlimited number of terms now. An extract of the film’s shorthand notes has been translated into Russian by a website InoSMI.ru.
