Rymasheuski released on recognizance
A former presidential candidate Vital Rymasheuski was released on recognizance on the night of January
The Belarusian Christian Democracy has confirmed this information. We did not manage to contact Rymasheuski because he was being interrogated in KGB on the morning of January 3.
According to the BCD, the official reason for the release was “an explanatory note sent to Lukashenka”. Rymasheuski is going to give a press conference and to describe the details of the case on January 4.
It is known that there are numerous photos and videos of Rymasheuski trying to stop instigators on December 19.
According to Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s statements made on January 30, he was ready to reverse the repressions.
Lukashenka implied that he was ready to release those who would apologize to him personally. “If they are not connected with the mass disorders and went to the square because of their ideological motives, I will personally consider the possibility of their release, - he said but added glibly. – “But if you are guilty, I will not interfere. In the end, everyone should give account for themselves. If somebody tries to exercise pressure and demands it, it will only become worse”, — he warned.
It is not clear what Vital Rymasheuski wrote in his “explanatory note”, informs “Nasha Niva”.
