Second lawyer refuses to protect Iryna Halip

Ulazdimir Halip, the father of the journalist under a house arrest, has informed about it.
According to him, Uladzimir Toustsik suddenly refused to protect Iryna at first. The second lawyer, Tamara Harayeva, has done the same.

"There was Toustsik, they exercised pressure on him and said he would be deprived of his license. So what? Change Toustsik – this woman replaced Toustsik. The woman agreed but then the investigator phoned and said: “Give me your lawyer’s phone number”. The lawyer has phoned and flatly refused to plead the case today: “I will not plead the case”. This is what the situation is like”, - said Halip to “Radio Racyja”.

Lawyer Harayeva claims that the decision not to protect Iryna Halip was taken without any pressure.
