Second tanker of Venezuelan oil cost Belarus less than first one
According to the AFN, the Venezuelan oil that arrived in Odessa on June 19, cost Belarus $568 for a ton. The decrease in the price is caused by the decrease in prices in the world market. Let us remind you that Belarus received about 35 thousand tons of oil in June. However, May supplies were much bigger – about 80 thousand tons.
According to the agreements reached by Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Hugo Chavez, Minsk is planning to buy 4 million tons of oil from Caracas this year. The average price of Venezuelan oil is 629 dollars for a ton at the moment, while the price of Russian oil is 396 dollars.
