New social graffiti in central Minsk
A wall in the centre of Minsk keeps being covered with new social graffiti. The portrait of ex-Minister of Labour and Social Protection Mariana Shchotkina appeared on the wall on the night of March 5. The inscription said: “I am the author of the freeloader’s tax.”

The street art was removed very quickly. Only the shoes remained. Minskers started bringing flowers there. Somebody brought a folder with the threatening inscription ‘Case #...’.
The inscription ‘You understand it all’ was painted above the shoes the next morning. “We are all under a heel,” a Minsker joked when Euroradio was making a photo of the graffiti.
We will keep monitoring the situation near the miraculous wall.
