Belarus is interested in exporting electricity to the European market, but there are still technical problems for the implementation of such projects, Belarus' first deputy prime minister said in a statement.
The current electrical energy system of Belarus does not completely match the European system, he said.
A special station might be picked to deliver the electrical energy.
Siamashka also noted that a 700MW-strong thermal power plant in Selwa could be used for this option. It will be commssioned in 2015, reports Interfax.
