Slonim authorities forbid entrepreneurs’ forum
Slonim District Executive Committee has again forbidden the association of entrepreneurs “Perspectiva” to organize a forum to discuss the main problems of individual entrepreneurs. It was planned to discuss the problems connected with changing of individual entrepreneurs into unitary enterprises and the introduction of a simplified system of taxation. A Slonim entrepreneur Victar Marchyk informed ERB that the reason for the refusal was very silly:
“They cannot provide us with an office for the meeting because the reconstruction of the city is in process. In fact they told me: “You know, entrepreneurs from other cities and regions will arrive. You should protect your guests. What if a timber falls on someone’s head or someone will brake a leg… it’s a reconstruction ”.
