Social Democrats vote for Tatstsiana Karatkevich running for presidency
She was supported by all members of the People's Referendum", except the movement For Freedom.
The Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) decided to support the nomination of the party friend and activist of the Tell the Truth campaign Tatstsiana Karatkevich for presidency. The decision was approved on April 19 by the General Committee the organization, BelaPAN reports.
The first to nominate Karatkevich as a candidate for presidency was the Tell the Truth campaign. The company hopes to nominate her from the People's Referendum that unites Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada), Tell the Truth, BPF party and the movement For Freedom. The BPF Party also supported the release of Karatkevich. The movement For Freedom has not decided on this matter.
The presidential elections are to be held in Belarus before 20 November. The CEC said the most probable date for them is 15 November.
