Strangers in plain clothes try to force way to independent journalists’ flat in Minsk
Strangers started forcing their way into an independent journalists’ private flat in Minsk at about 3 p.m. One of the journalists from the flat has informed ERB that somebody shouted out that they should not open the door to anyone because there were policemen approaching the flat. Then somebody started knocking on the door. By the way, the strangers did not say anything and they neither addressed anyone nor introduced themselves.
When the journalists did not open the door, the electricity in the flat got turned off.
The journalists captured in the flat claim that they do not know who is trying to get in. They did not ask any questions and the people outside have not asked anything either.
Journalists do not want to call the police. They say that those who are knocking on the door now will also get in. Journalists are sure that the people are representatives of special police troops.
