Syarhei Mihalok gets Belarus’ 2013 Civic Leader award (photo, video)
Lyapis Lrubetskoy front-man Syarhei Mikhalok wins the Civil Society Champions 2013 Award organized by Assembly of NGOs on December 23.
The most notable events in the life of Belarusian civil organizations were awarded with the prize Champions of the Civil Society.
The nation-wide campaign Let’s Do It Better became the campaign of the year. Language or Coffee won in the nomination New Initiative. People’s riots against the elimination of home pigs (pigs were eliminated to stop the distribution of African swine fever) became the regional event of the year. Minsk ground Workshop became the place of the year. The workshop of social advertising and the installation of a monument to Kalinowski in Atsravets District became the creativeness of the year.
The Internet television of tut.by became the mass media of the year. The fine of organizers of the bicycle race “fops on bikes” was announced to be Bast Shoes of the year. Syarhei Mihalok became the civil leader of 2013.
