Twisters become more frequent in Belarus
Weather forecasters say that the increase in the number of twisters is connected with climatic changes and new technical possibilities that can be used to register the natural phenomenon. Twisters are usually local and get registered by ordinary people taking pictures or making videos, notes BelaPAN. The last twister registered by a meteorological service occurred near Chachersk in Homel Province in June 2009. Weather forecasters think that twisters will continue appearing in Belarus due to temperature contrasts.
