Vasilevich is dismissed from position of head of Constitutional Court
Ryhor Vasilevich has been dismissed from the post of the head of the Constitutional Court of Belarus. The order was signed by Alyaksandr Lukashenka. It is reported that Vasilevich was dismissed “in connection with the end of the term of his credentials and his retirement”. He occupied this position starting from 1997, informs “Interfax”.
Let us note that, according to unofficial sources, Natallya Pyatkevich, deputy head of the President’s Administration, was considered as a possible candidate for the position of the head of the Constitutional Court.
