Yanukovich may become intermediary between Minsk and Europe

Ukraine is ready to promote rapprochement between Belarus and the European Union. The Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich informed about it at a meeting with the European Council Herman Van Rompuy in Kiev on July 9. "Ukraine is ready to act like a bridge in this issue”, - inform numerous Ukrainian mass media quoting Yanukovich. According to him, “the strengthening of the European vector in the foreign policy of Belarus and integration of the Belarusian economy into the EU market corresponds to Ukraine’s interests”.
