The Ukrainian ex-PM went on hunger strike on support of the association with the EU on November 25.
The ex-PM’s daughter, Evgeniya Timoshenko, informed about it at a briefing near Kharkiv hospital after a visit to her mother. She gave her mother a petition to stop the hunger strike and save her life and health prepared by participants of the European Maidan. The most famous Ukrainian political prisoner said that she had gone on hunger strike to express solidarity with protesters and that she would consider their request.
