Yarmoshyna: Better not have MPs with knuckledusters near rostrum
The Central Election Commission chairperson has commented on the progress of the parliamentary election campaign.
Meanwhile, she has noted that "it is better to have a parliament without shows rather than see MPs with knucklebusters near the rostrum like in some of our neighbouring states", informs BelTA.
Lidziya Yarmoshyna has informed that 352 initiative groups have been registered. However, only 330 people are going to run for MPs by collecting signatures. The thing is 10 citizens have registered two or more groups.
The CEC chairperson has noted that ex-presidential candidates Alyaksandr Milinkevich, Victar Tsyareshchanka, deputy head of the House of Representatives Uladzimir Andreichanka and his deputy Victar Huminski, ex-MPs Uladzimir Navasyad and Valery Fralou, head of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka and head of the BPF Party Alyaksei Yanukevich are going to run for MPs, informs BelaPAN.
