Reports: Maradona's house in Minsk costs $20mn (pictures)
FC Dynamo Brest chairman of board Diego Maradona will live in a house worth of $20 million in the Belarus capital Minsk, reports Argentinian newspaper Clarín. According to the newspaper, the house has seven rooms and a swimming pool. There is an airstrip not far from the villa for his private jet to fly to his job location in Brest. The report contains several pictures reportedly from the house. Earlier in spring, Maradona's aides looked for a house in Brest not in Minsk.
Diego Maradona will have two VIP cars — a BMW and a Rolls Royce Phantom that he brought along from the United Arab Emirates. In Belarus, he will alo use "a giant vehicle" — Hunta BME-1015.
Maradona recently spent in Belarus two days. During his short stay he held a press conference, attended a football match played by his club and chatted with Dynamo Brest footballers. Maradona will have a 15-day vacation in Argentina before arriving in Athenes on 2 August to attend Dynamo Brest's Europe League 2nd-round match against Atromitos. He will then travel to Belarus where he hopes to meet with President Lukashenka.
Under the contract, Maradona oversees the player procurement, their transfer and the development of children's football.
