Statkevich’s wife is in hospital: no serious injuries (photo)
Her son is going to bring her back to Minsk.
Mikalai Statkevich’s wife Maryna Adamovich is in hospital in Kruhlaye after a road accident. She is in normal condition but there may be a few fractures, her son Yury Adamovich told Euroradio.
Yury Adamovich: “She is more or less okay. The doctors advise that she stayed for the night but we are likely to return to Minsk. There are no visible serious injuries but there may be a few fractures. She is not feeling well – they have got her on a drip.”
Maryna Adamovich met with a road accident on her way back from the colony where her husband Mikalai Statkevich is serving his sentence now. It was a head-on collision and the car was completely broken, her son said. Fortunately, the air bags did their job.
